The servers that We store personal information on are kept in a secure environment. However, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be completely secure. As a result, while We strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet which are beyond our control; the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and Us through this Site cannot be guaranteed; and any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party. What Information Do We Collect
As noted above, in order to provide you with Our services, We collect the personal information indicated under the “INFORMATION WE COLLECT” heading. Such personal information can be described in further detail as Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
Personally Identifiable Information
This refers to information that lets Us know the specifics of who you are. In order for you to access and purchase products and/or services offered via the Site, We may ask you to provide certain information that personally identifies you. Specifically, We may ask for the following information: your first and last name, mailing address (including zip code), additional monitoring addresses, email address, telephone number, and other personal identifying information. In addition, when ordering products or services on the Site, you may be asked to provide payment information, such as a credit or debit card number. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities, and if you decide to provide Us with such personally identifiable information, you agree that We may retain information about the activities which you conduct via the Site, including but not limited to searches and reports. Depending upon the product or service, if you do not provide the requested information, you may not be able to access or obtain the product or service you want. You should be aware that if you enter any personal information during the information request process and then hit the “continue” button on that page, the information you have entered will be transmitted to Us, even though you may not complete the process on subsequent pages. Please note that your enrollment in any service on the Site is contingent upon you agreeing to the Terms of Use of membership and providing the requested personally identifiable information as described above.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information
This refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. However, it can be combined with other personal information to identify a specific individual. We gather certain information about you based upon where you visit on our Site in several ways. This information is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis. This information may include the Site's Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") that you just came from, which URL you next go to, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol ("IP") address. A URL is the global address of documents and other resources on the World Wide Web. An IP address is an identifier for a computer or device on a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol ("TCP/IP") network, such as the World Wide Web. The TCP/IP protocol is used to route information based on the IP address of the destination. In other words, an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the web, allowing web servers to locate and identify your computer. Computers require IP addresses in order for users to communicate on the Internet.
How Do We Use the Information We Collect
We may use Personally Identifiable Information to deliver information to you and to contact you regarding administrative notices. We will use Personally Identifiable Information to enhance the operation of our Site, to fill orders, to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to analyze Site use, to improve our product and service offerings, and to customize our Site's content, layout, and services. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our agreements with you, including our Terms of Use, and this Privacy Policy. Your information may also be used by Us or by third parties to whom We transfer it to provide the products or services you have requested.
Tracking Technologies
When you use the Site, We store cookies on your computer in order to facilitate and customize your use of the Site. A cookie is a small data text file, which a website stores on your computer's hard drive (if your Web browser permits) that can later be retrieved to identify you to Us. We collect information through cookies and web beacons about your web browsing activities. The cookies make your use of the Site easier; make the Site run more smoothly; and help Us to maintain a secure Site. In the event that your browser requests that We do not track you or store a cookie, our Site is unable to honor such requests.
Third Party Tags/Web Beacons. We use electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs, clear gifs or action tags) which allow Us to collect information about your visit to our Site, measure and improve the effectiveness of advertisements and track delivery of advertising. Web beacons collect only a limited set of information including a cookie number, time and date of page view, as well as a description of the page on which the web beacon resides. We may also use web beacons in email messages sent to you. This allows Us to determine if you opened or acted upon the email messages. Because web beacons are the same as any other content request, you cannot opt out or refuse them. However, they can be rendered ineffective by either opting out of cookies or changing the cookie setup in your browser. We use Google Ads and its “enhanced conversions” feature, which is used to match Our customers to Google accounts, which were signed into when the customer engaged with an ad for the Site. Google’s tag captures information which you enter on the Site (such as email address and/or phone number); hashes such information; and sends it to Google in its hashed form for purposes of matching Gooole account users that engage with an ad for our Site. For more information, please see https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9888656?hl=en for more information.
We may use an outside ad serving company to display banner advertisements on our Site. As part of their service, they will place a separate cookie on your computer. We will not provide any such third-party ad server with your Personally Identifiable Information. In addition, other advertisers may also place banner ads on our Site, and We will not disclose any Personally Identifiable Information to them.
We and our third party ad server may collect and use Non-Personally Identifiable Information about you, such as your IP address, browser type, the server your computer is logged onto, the area code and zip code associated with your server and whether you responded to a particular ad. In the event that your browser requests that We do not track you or store a cookie, our Site is unable to honor such requests.
Please note that other third parties, including Meta, may provide pixels which are placed on the Site. Such pixels collect consumer activity and interactions on the Site, such as scrolling, pages viewed, and buttons clicked, devices used to access the Site, IP addresses, and timestamps. Such third parties may use such data collected via such pixels on our Site for their own advertising and marketing purposes. To the extent that you have a Facebook account, please note that Meta may link information collected through its pixel to your Facebook account and use such for its own personalized advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s own privacy policy.
